UWM Vintage Wisconsin State Green Gulls Tee
Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s teams haven’t always been the Panthers. In 1896, the Wisconsin State Normal School fielded its first athletics teams, known as the “Normals.” After a name change in 1927, the school selected a seagull mascot, and became known as the Green Gulls. This vintage-inspired Green Gulls design pays tribute to UWM’s long athletic history, including their interesting (but peculiar!) mascot.
