When the ambitious project was finished – smaller than what Fisher wanted, but still featuring a massive, 2.5-mile oval track – crowds flocked to see racing and speed trials, and haven’t stopped attending racing spectacles ever since. This corduroy hat is a classic nod to the speedway and its legacy spanning over 100 years.
