We were inspired by Arizona State’s 1977 jerseys to create this simple, classic look. It’s perhaps a little more subdued than what you’d see behind the Curtain of Distraction, a hoops tradition since 2013 meant to – you guessed it! – distract opposing teams shooting their free throws. In the second half of a game, students and even celebrities have popped out of the curtain, wearing outlandish costumes or gear to throw off an opposing shooter.
